Not as much photogenic trash out there, recently. Not sure what that means, but I guess it's good. Could be that most of the trash I see is just ugly, though.

I'll try to keep a better eye out!

Who would throw out this lovely power tool?

If I wasn't in such a hurry, I would have given this guy a loving home and a bright future in the 'bot wars.

(Okay, you caught me, not really trash.)

... but the bench beside it, where someone left their trash, is not.

I mean, who wouldn't want to stuff their refuse down the gaping maw of this shiny fiberglass clown?

Just now, for reasons completely unrelated to this photo (heh) I realized that for New Yorkers, every trashcan represents a temporal portal to New Jersey. Maybe the more sensitive folks among us know that their trash is bound for points west if it goes into the bin, and they really just want to keep it here in the city.

So they leave it on the bench. Isn't that kind?

If you're going to put a fancy basket on your bike like this, you're going to have to clean all the crap out of it each and every day.

Take pictures of misplaced debris. Send them to NaTC. Feed the robot. Have a nice day.
